Japanese culture has been a large focus of my studies, and I love reading anything I can about it.
In my free time (when I'm not studying), I'm either drawing, reading books/manga or playing video games, unless my friends invite me to go somewhere. I'm a huge fan of the Final Fantasy series, and music, although I have yet to play them all.
I enjoy a wide spectrum of music, from Classic rock, to techno, to Japanese rock/pop and classical(piano, orchestra). I'm always interested in finding new bands to listen to.
Most of the books I've read were recommended to me by friends. So I'll read pretty much what ever I can get my hands on, but enjoy reading Ron Hansen, David Sedaris, Tim Cahill, and C.S Friedman, among others. Aside from authors, some of my favorite comedians are Eddie Izzard, George Carlin, Lewis Black, and Denis Leary.
